The park fee, at the issuer
The Zambezi cruises from Victoria Falls run on park waters, and Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority (ZimParks) charges a conservation fee for the Zambezi River. Its 2026 tariff, in force since late January 2026, sets it at:
| Visitor | Fee a person, per day |
|---|---|
| International | US$12 |
| From a SADC country | US$12 |
| Zimbabwean | US$5 |
ZimParks 2026 tariff, checked November 2026.
The tariff lists no child rate for the river. Operators collect the fee at check-in, and Pure Africa asks for it in cash before the cruise. Shearwater charges children aged 3 to 12 US$3. Wild Horizons lists a US$10 river usage fee inside its sundowner price; Pure Africa, Shearwater and Heritage Expeditions charge the US$12 tariff at check-in, and one Viator dinner listing includes the fee in its price, so read what your booking says and carry US$12 in small notes either way.
On the Zambian side, Livingstone’s Adventure includes the park fee in its African Queen prices. The Zambia Tourism Agency’s 2025 list puts entry to Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park at US$10 for international visitors.

What else to budget for
- Tips for the crew and the waiters: no listing includes them.
- Drinks beyond what is included: premium brands on several boats, everything after 8 pm on the Zambezi Reflections, and the cash bar at The Eatery.
- Transfers from outside Victoria Falls town: the free pickup covers hotels in Victoria Falls town; a lodge further out, or a hotel in Livingstone, costs extra.
- A visa, if you cross from Zambia: the KAZA UNIVISA costs US$50 and covers Zambia and Zimbabwe for up to 30 days; Zimbabwe or Zambia explains when you need it.
